Origin Story

Mark Kelley has worked in the agriculture industry his entire life. He received his masters degree in crop science and then achieved a masters degree in agronomy. His entire career has revolved around helping others in this dynamic field.

He has passed down his skills, knowledge, and passion to his son, Joshua and daughter in law, Kinzie. They share Mark’s desire to help farmers and producers with their crop health and production. Their entrepreneurial spirit has inspired them to create their own business in hopes of serving others.

Background in Industry

Mark Kelley, PhD has deep roots in the agronomy industry. He has experience in many different crops and regions. Mark received his BS in Agriculture Business-Animal Science at Cameron University, then his MS in Crop Science at Texas Tech University, and his PhD in Agronomy at Texas Tech University. Mark has developed data management tools and research equipment throughout his career. He has written grant funding proposals, grant reports, experiment station reports, extension reports, and research abstracts. He has been published in peer reviewed extension publications as a co-author, as a co-author in 2 Peer Reviewed journal articles, and a co-author for a book chapter on agronomy. Mark began his official career in 1990 as an Extension Agriculturist and has had experience as a consultant, agronomist, production manager, and in ag sales. His diversified background gives him keen insight into the world of agronomy.
